Tournament Golf 2016

WPGA Order Of Merit 2016

By finishing 7th Order Of Merit for the WPGA one series events, I have been invited to play in an Ladies European Tour Access Series event!

The International Challenge is held on he Gainsborough Course at Stoke By Nayland Golf Club between the 6th & 8th October. It's played over 3 days with a cut after the 2nd day from the field of 93 lady professionals.

I have played in this event before and it's a lot different to the WPGA series, it's great seeing the girls who play gol...f full time and from previous years I have gained experience for the different sort of neves you feel on the first tee!

Any support over the days would be greatly appreciated, I'm very excited and happy to be invited to play in this event as its the next level up for me and something I've always been working towards throughout the year.
Please let me know if you'd like to come and watch!

Monday 7th March 2016- WPGA Foursomes

WPGA Foursomes held at The Berkshire Golf Club is the opening tournament for the WPGA playing season. After finishing in 3rd place last year, myself and partner Katie Rule wanted to go for top 3 again!

The cold weather and frosty start always sets the golf off to a slow start, making a couple of birdies through the round we finished with +3 putting us in 1st place.

Monday 11th July 2016- Ladies British Open Qualifier

I played in the RICOH British Ladies Open Pre-Qualifier at The Berkshire, Surrey. It's my first year playing the event and throughoughly enjoyed it. 90 Professional women took part competing for 25 spaces. After a monsoon rain shower on 10, I dropped 2 shots after the 20 minute delay, but swiftly got back into the swing of things parring my way in from 12.

Finishing with a score of +4 put me 3 shots off the qualifying score of +1. The top 25 from the qualifier made the cut & I finished in T41 position.

Tuesday 19th July 2016- Titleist & Footjoy Championship

I played in the 36 hole Women Professionals Tournament sponsored by Footjoy & Titliest at Frilford Heath Golf Club. It was one of the hottest days of the year, peaking up to 34'C at lunch time, to play 36 holes was hard work for all the ladies!

Some great scores out there considering the heat I finished +7 after my first round. Not playing the course before, it turned out quite a tricky as some of the holes played back to front hitting irons off tees and woods into the greens. I finished the second round in an improved +4, finishing middle of the leadboard.
