I am a full time Golf Professional at Saffron Walden Golf Club specialising in golf coaching. I play on the WPGA Tour & compete in many regional Pro Am's. I currently sit 3rd in the WPGA Order Of Merit. As much as I love playing, I have a true passion for coaching and improving my clients golf game.

I grew up playing and learning golf at Newmarket Links Golf Club. I have always worked in golf, my first job in 2012 as an sales assistant at Kingsway Golf Centre. My time at Kingsway was great, I gave lessons to both juniors & beginners for 6 months there and really enjoyed it. I have also had experience working at one of the UK's largest golf store, American Golf for just over a year whilst part time teaching. Custom Fitting was a big part of working at American Golf, I carried out 3 custom fits a day on average whilst working at the Cambridge store. It gave me good knowledge to keep up to date with new technology & learn about the different products being launched.

In 2013 I moved to Bourn Golf Club where I started my PGA as an assistant. I worked at Bourn Golf Club in my first year of my PGA. Becoming a Level 1 qualified assistant golf professional in September 2012. I have enjoyed my training during my job as an assistant professional because it allows me to teach others what I've been taught and watch them improve their golf skills and game.

My final year as an assistant was at TopGolf, Chigwell in 2015. Working at the centre gave me a big confidence boost for talking to guests as well as gaining a lot of my coaching skills. Whilst working at TopGolf I gained the qualifications to teach individuals, groups, juniors. I regularly go to schools to interact with kids in education getting them into golf too.

In September 2015 I moved back home to Saffron Walden Golf Club, where I am now settled and love my role here. I am now qualified as a PGA Professional and spending most of my time teaching at work, with a few shop hours on the side. I am a committed role model for coaching as I enjoy watching a player gain confidence and improve their golf game. I have the use of video technology in all my lessons as I feel players improve better by seeing their swing in slow motion and changes can be made to view & compare.

2021 saw my change of position to Head Teaching Professional and new role coaching the Cambridgeshire County Girls. I'm also very honoured to be one of the coaches for the Battle Back Golf Team.
